Founders

Purpose

Soleil was created for young actors to experience a community of learning, professionalism, and artistic freedom. The founder’s vision for Soleil is to form a group of talented high school individuals that provide entertainment to the central Florida community for charitable cause.

Aidan Dandiya is a performer and student at Lake Highland Preparatory School who has been in several productions in the past 6 years, trained at Stagedoor Manor in New York, and is a Dr. Philips Applause Award recipient.

Sophia-Bella Carrasquillo is a student/performer at Lake Highland Preparatory School and the Dr. Phillips Center where she has been in many productions over the past 6 years, was the dance captain of the Dr. Phillips Center’s Four Counts and is a two time Applause Award recipient.

AJ Morales is a performer and student at University High School. He has participated in several performances both within and outside of his school including Dr. Phillips Center, Sea World, and Opera Naples. AJ enjoys teaching piano to young students and is a two time Applause Award recipient.

Jaxon Allison is a member of the Boone High School Theatre Department where he has had the opportunity to be nominated as an outstanding lead performer at the Applause Awards this past year. He has also been able to travel to Memphis to perform at SETC.

Josie Pantoja is a student/performer at University High School, where she’s been involved in many shows not only onstage, but offstage as Costume Manager. Josie is also Voice Captain for the Dr. Philip Center's Four Counts, and a two-time Applause Award recipient.

Michael Crocetti is an actor and student at Windermere preparatory school who has been in multiple productions for the past 5 years having won best in show for his monologues at thespian competitions as well as a three time applause award recipient

Brianni Whigham is a student performer at University High school where she has been in several productions the last 4 years, she has also participated in Theatre West Ends youth summer intensive.

Raina, a senior at University High School, is incredibly grateful to be a part of the Soleil company. She has been performing since she was 9, and has received many accolades, including National Shakespeare Competition Finalist (Top 10), and Applause Awards Outstanding Lead Performer. Many thanks and lots of love!

Sydney Barker is a senior at Montverde Academy who has performed at various different theaters including the Garden Theater and the Orlando REP. She has been performing since the 3rd grade and is so excited to be joining Soleil.

Jackson Chase is a Senior at Lake Nona High School who has been in several shows around the community and at Lake Nona. He was most recently the winner of “Best Male Performer” at the 2022 Applause Awards for the Dr. Phillips Center and won the “Outstanding Performer in an Ensemble” award at the NHSMT Jimmy Awards in New York City.
